Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 October 2026
These Terms explain how ordering, paying, hosting, and editing work at TapKo. By sending an order on our site or by ordering through us on Messenger, you agree to them and to our Privacy Notice.
1. What we provide
TapKo makes a smart card that opens your personal page when a phone is tapped on it, or when its QR code is scanned or its link is opened. The price includes the card, programming it, and building and hosting your page for the first year. The package you pick (Basic, Standard, Premium, Team, or the Google Review stand) decides which features your page has.
2. Orders
- Sending the order form is a request, not a purchase. An order is confirmed when we message you to confirm the details and we receive your down payment.
- The total shown on the form is an estimate. Prices can change before we confirm your order, and we will tell you the final amount in our confirmation message.
- Please give us correct information. We build your card and page from the details you send, and an approved design is printed as approved.
3. Payment
A down payment is required before we start production. The balance, and the payment methods available, are explained in our confirmation message. We deliver the card after it has been programmed and tested.
4. Delivery
We will give you an estimated date. It is an estimate, not a guarantee, because printing and delivery depend on other people. Delivery or pickup details are agreed with you when we confirm the order.
5. Hosting, edits, and renewal
- Hosting: your page is hosted for one year from the day your card is delivered.
- Edits: changes to your page (for example a new phone number, photos, or links) are free during the first 30 days after delivery. After that, edits are done for a small fee that we tell you before we start.
- Renewal: after the first year, a yearly hosting fee keeps your page online (currently between ₱100 and ₱200 per year). We will remind you before it expires, and your card keeps the same link. If hosting is not renewed, we may take your page offline.
- Your link must not change once it is on a card, so we do not change page addresses after your card is made.
6. Your content
- You are responsible for the text, photos, and links you give us, and you confirm that you have the right to use them.
- Your page is public. Please read section 4 of our Privacy Notice.
- Your page must not be used for anything illegal, deceptive, hateful, or sexually explicit, or to pretend to be someone else. We may refuse an order or disable a page that breaks this rule.
- You allow us to store, display, and process your content to provide the service.
7. Warranty
- If your card does not work because of a manufacturing or programming fault, we will fix or replace it free of charge if you tell us within 30 days of delivery.
- The warranty does not cover physical damage (bending, cracking, scratches, water, heat), lost or stolen cards, or phones that do not support tap-to-open. Most modern smartphones do, and your page can always be opened through its link or QR code.
- A replacement for something that is not covered is possible for a fee.
8. Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel an order before we start production, and we will refund your down payment less any payment fees. Once production has started (design or programming), the down payment is not refundable, because the work is already done. If we cannot deliver your order, we will refund what you paid for it. Nothing here limits your rights under Philippine consumer law.
9. Availability and responsibility
We work to keep your page online, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, because it depends on services such as Cloudflare and the internet. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost business or missed contacts, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the order concerned.
10. Changes and the law
We may update these Terms. The version that applied when you ordered applies to that order. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
